How we handle the personal data you send us through this website.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Why Not?, Lda., VAT/NIF PT504517902, Av. Misericórdia 294, 3700-191 São João da Madeira, Portugal. Contact: through the form on this website.
What we collect
When you use the project form we receive your name, company, email, website or Instagram, the project or application details you write and any files you attach.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare quotes, samples and production. When you send the form, we also email you a confirmation that it arrived. The legal basis is your request and the steps before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Who can see it
Our team and the services that process the data on our behalf: Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and its form, and Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which sends the confirmation email. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and applications that do not lead to further contact are deleted after 12 months. Data linked to orders is kept for as long as Portuguese accounting and tax law requires.
Website statistics
We count visits with Umami (umami.is). It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not identify you. We only see totals, such as how many people visited a page and from which country.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, through the contact form on this website. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
