Quantities
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our minimums are per reference (style):
- Bags and travel bags: 75 units
- Belts and small leather goods: 150 units
- Products with custom-made hardware: 100 units
Within the minimum, one reference can be made in up to 3 colours.
Can you produce larger quantities?
Yes. Our production capacity is more than 1,000 bags per month. Tell us the quantity per reference and we will confirm the production plan with your estimate.
Samples and development
What can we start from?
A sketch, a reference photo, a physical sample or a full technical pack. We take care of pattern making, construction, materials and technical details. We don't offer design services: we turn your design into a product.
Do you make samples without a production order?
No. We develop patterns and samples as the first step of a production order, so every development is linked to a first production run.
How long does sample development take?
4 to 6 weeks, counted from the confirmation of the development.
How is development charged?
Pattern making and the sample are quoted per style, based on the complexity of the product. You receive the development cost together with your price estimate, before anything starts.
How do we choose the materials for the sample?
Once the development is confirmed, we send leather swatches, catalogues and hardware options to your address. Once you have made your choice, we make the pattern and the sample.
Production and pricing
What is your production lead time?
8 to 10 weeks, counted from the confirmation of the production order. Production starts once the sample is approved and the materials are validated.
What do you need to give us a price?
Your design or reference, materials, hardware, dimensions, quantity per reference and, if you have one, a target price. Prices are estimates given EXW Portugal, excluding VAT and shipping, and are confirmed after the sample.
Where are your products made?
In our workshop in São João da Madeira, Portugal. A few specific operations, such as embroidery or laser perforation, are carried out by specialised local partners.
Materials and branding
Which materials do you work with?
Calf and goat leather, suede and nubuck, canvas and waxed canvas, denim, linen, nylon, PU and microfibre. On request, we also work with plant-based materials and LWG-certified chrome-free leathers.
Can you add our logo?
Yes. We can deboss or emboss your logo with a custom die, hot stamp it, or have it screen printed or embroidered. Custom hardware with your logo is possible from 100 units.
Can you apply our labels and packaging?
Yes. We can sew in your labels, add hangtags and barcode stickers, pack in polybags and supply custom dust bags.
Shipping and visits
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, 94% of our production is exported. Shipping is quoted separately, based on the destination and the volume.
Can we visit your workshop?
Of course, we would be happy to welcome you in São João da Madeira. Visits are by appointment, so we can make sure we are available.
